OXO is Alcatel for paperweight.



I got an Alcatel OmniPCX Office at an auction for a fraction of the retail price but it came with a snag.

Technical information are rather scarce, software availability is low and is quite obscure to the  noob's eye.



Basic things.


- Alcatel OmniPCX Office is referred as OXO,
- PM5 or OMC are pieces of software used to manage & configure the OXO,
- R7.1 Firmware (versions are in the form Rx.x) is the Operating System of the OXO,
- Lola is the piece of software used to install the Firmware onto the OXO.
